Limited Warranty

THIS WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY IN THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES, THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA AND THE COMMONWEALTH OF PUERTO RICO.

American Video Electronics, Inc. (AVEI) warrants this component in duration as stated below.

Conditions of AVEI. Limited Warranty

AVE, Inc products are warranted to be free of defects in parts and workmanship at the time of purchase by the original owner. If this product is found to be defective, AVE, Inc. will repair the product at no charge to the original owner for a period of One Year. AVE, Inc. will provide labor for the repair or replacement of parts for the product for one year subject to the following conditions:

1. Owner must provide verification of the date of purchase when requesting Limited Warranty Service.

2. All repairs must be performed by an American Video Electronics, Inc. (AVEI), Authorized Service Facility.

3. All products to be serviced must be returned to AVE, Inc. freight prepaid. AVE, Inc. will pay for return shipping to locations in the 48 contiguous United States of America only. Products shipped outside of the 48 contiguous states or outside USA will be charged for return shipping.

What Is Not Covered

This limited warranty provided by American Video Electronics, Inc. does not cover:

Products which have been subject to abuse, accident, alteration, modification, tampering, negligence, misuse, lack of reasonable care or if repaired or serviced by any other than a service facility authorized by American Video Electronics, Inc. to perform such service, or if the model or serial number has been altered, tampered with, defaced or removed.

2. Initial installation and installation and removal for repair.

3. Damage that occurs in shipment, due to act of God, and cosmetic damage;

THE DURATION OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY HEREIN. NO PERSON, AGENT, DISTRIBUTOR, DEALER, SERVICE FACILITY, OR COMPANY IS AUTHORIZED TO CHANGE, MODIFY, OR AMEND THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IN ANY MANNER OR FASHION WHATSOEVER. EXCEPT AND TO THE EXTENT PROVIDED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, AMERICAN VIDEO ELECTRONIC, INC. MAKES NO EXPRESS WARRANTY REGARDING THIS
AVE, INC. PRODUCT, FURTHER, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES RELATING TO ANY PORTION OF THIS PRODUCT, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO ONE YEAR FOR LABOR AND PARTS, THE DURATION OF THE APPLICABLE EXPRESS WARRANTY CONTAINED ABOVE. AVE., INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO THE PURCHASER FOR ANY INCIDENTIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOSS OF PROFIT OR PRODUCT RESULTING FROM ANY DEFECT OR MALFUNCTION OR FAILURE OF THIS AVE, INC. PRODUCT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LAST, OR EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
