Community involvement is an essential part of AVEI’S
legacy and critical part of our future. In 2006, Founder
and , Thomas Lee, was moved by the senseless and
tragic death of a high school student in Platt Canyon,
Colorado.
During a visit to the school Mr. Lee offered to donate a
comprehensive security system.
This donation, the first of its kind in the State, provided
extensive security and surveillance technology to Platte
Canyon High School, Middle School,
and Elementary
School – thereby, providing
local law enforcement and school personnel with state of art technology.
Although these senseless acts of violence cannot be prevented entirely, the tragic outcomes
can be minimized with security systems in place that can monitor suspicious activity.
Committed to making schools safer, Lee’s vision is
to continue partnering with business
and schools in Colorado and across the country.
These partnerships will help to provide security and surveillance systems at a minimal
cost to ensure the safety and security of the children, teachers and administrators.
In 2007, AVEI will established an initiative as part of our Corporate social philanthropic
and volunteer resources on vital importance of school safety and security.
